The AggKnowledge API uses conventional HTTP response codes to indicate the success or failure of a request. In general: codes in the 2xx range indicate success. Codes in the 4xx range indicate an error based on the information provided — for example, missing a required parameter or exceeding your rate limit. Codes in the 5xx range indicate an error on our end, and are rare.
All error responses conform to RFC 9457 and include a correlationId field you can use when reaching out to support.
Some errors you should expect to handle programmatically:
- 401 Unauthorized — Your API key is missing or invalid.
- 402 Out of Credits — Your account has exhausted its credits under your current contract.
- 429 Too Many Requests — You've exceeded your rate limit. Back off and retry after a short delay.
