HCP

An HCP is a resolved healthcare professional, a clinician or researcher, keyed by a stable aggkHcpId. The record carries identity, profile, activity metrics, affiliations, and focus areas. The full clinical and scholarly activity is served by dedicated sub-resource endpoints. Field by field: the HCP data dictionary.

  • Identifiers — the handles that reference a professional, and which to store.
  • Matching — resolving an identifier, name, or attributes to a professional.

An HCP’s activity is served by dedicated endpoints rather than inlined on the record — fetch them by aggkHcpId as you need them:

  • Bibliometric — publications, clinical trials, and congresses return the full set in one response.
  • Claims-derived — diagnoses, procedures, and prescriptions are large, so they page with a limit (default 100, max 1000) and an opaque cursor — a bookmark string you pass back unchanged for the next page. Each result carries a taxonomy category, trailing- and yearly-count breakdowns, and a percentile rank.
Diagnosis and procedure results are classified against the shared clinical taxonomy. Learn to browse and filter it in Taxonomy.
