Drugs

A drug is a drug product keyed by its 11-digit product NDC. Each record combines the FDA National Drug Code directory listing with RxNorm-derived classification, pharmacology, and clinical attributes. Field by field: the Drug data dictionary.

  • Identifiers — the NDC forms and RxNorm concept that reference a product.
  • Matching — resolving by identifier, name, or structured attributes.
