Job Change Detection
Two ways to catch a job change: re-enrich the people you track, or discover movers across the graph. Recent movers are among the highest-converting outreach segments, so detecting a move cleanly is worth getting right.
Tracking people you already store#
Re-enrich by personId on a cadence and diff the workExperience array against what you last stored. A job change shows up as one of:
- A role that previously had a null
endDatenow has one set — they left that job. - A new entry with a null
endDateand a recentstartDate— they started a new one.
Warning: Diff the set of current roles (null
endDate) rather than watching primaryWorkExperienceId alone. The primary is chosen by heuristics (role type, seniority, and recency), so it can shift between two co-equal roles even when the person hasn’t actually moved. See how it’s computed in Work Experience.Finding movers across the graph#
To surface people who recently changed jobs without already holding their IDs, filter Discover on currentStartDateAtCompany — when they started their current stint at the employer:

}Intersect this with your target accounts or an ICP to catch new-in-seat decision-makers while the window for an early touch is still open.
